A number of factors determine the final price of a translation: subject matter, length, format and urgency. A personalised quotation will be given upon request and sight of the document.
As a general guideline, I operate from a basic rate of around 0,12 euros per French (source) word. This includes translation, proofreading, basic formatting, and the incorporation of minor revisions.
The rate may be higher for particularly technical documents, or those requiring an unusually fast turnaround.
Special rates can be negotiated for large or repeat projects or for regular clients.
All my quotes are clear and itemised so clients are fully aware of the final cost before translation begins. There are no hidden extras!
Payment is requested within 30 days of receipt of invoice and is usually made by bank transfer, although cheques and Paypal payments are accepted for regular clients.
